Uma Sundaram M.D., F.A.A.P. is the Director of Neonatology at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick, New Jersey. She graduated from S.V. Medical College in Tirupati, India. She completed a Pediatric Residency at New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York and completed a Neonatology Fellowship at the New York University Medical Center. 
Dr. Sundaram is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Board Certified Neontalogist (sick newborn and premature and low birth weight baby). She is a fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
In addition to her extensive experience in handling premature, low birth weight babies and newborn with birth defects and complications, she has an outpatient pediatric office located less than half a mile from Ocean Medical Center.
She has a passion for taking care of children as her own and takes time to communicate with the parents.
She loves music and practices singing. She also loves to watch movies and tennis grand slams.
Dr.Uma Sundaram has moved to the Jersey Shore area after completing her fellowship in Neonatology from NYU. Since July 1987, she has been serving both the Southern Monmouth and Northern Ocean County area community.
